Some issue and suggest for gif lib

Nov 14, 2011 at 8:47 AM

1. There is not gif encoder.

2. The Stream to decode is Stream.CanSeek required.

So, if the gif file come from web, I must download the file, and decode the file, and show the file. If this gif file contains a lot of frames, it will take a long time.

1. Gif Encoder

I know, this is a missing feature, but I am really busy at the moment. I got a lot of request from people, willing to help but nobody had time to really help with documentation or features.

2. Seeking

I already implemented a workaround, but I realized that more or less all streams support it, therefore I decided not to integrate it. When do you have the problem that a stream does not support it?
