Saving multiple images into one file

Mar 6, 2013 at 7:33 AM
Hi All!
Please let me know how to save multiple images into one file.
I have two charts which can export their images into stream.
chart.SaveImage(memoryStream, imageformat.jpeg);
chart.SaveImage(memoryStream,ImageFormat.Jpeg);
memoryStream.Seek(0,SeekOrigin.End)
chart1.SaveImage(memoryStrea, ImageFormat.Jpeg);
then i have tried
using(var m_Stream = savefileDialog.OpenFile())
{
memoryStream.WriteTo(m_Stream);
}
i got a file containing first chart(image).
How can i use the ImageTools to create a file containing two images(charts)?
Thanks in advance

Have you ever tired to use a image merging tool to save multiple images into one file, such as fax compatible TIFF file. Call following APIs in C sharp to programm your own coding procedures.

public override BaseDocument MergeDocument(BaseDocument appendDoc);

the following are some sample codes i have been using to merge tiff images
///<summary>
/// Combine a list of TIFF document into a single one and save it to stream
/// </summary>
/// <param name="s"></param>
/// <param name="docList"></param>
public void CombineDocumentAndSaveItToFile(String filePath, List<TIFFDocument> docList)
{
TIFFDocument.Combine(docList, filePath);
}

/// <summary>
/// Combine a list of TIFF document into a single one and save it to file
/// </summary>
/// <param name="s"></param>
/// <param name="docList"></param>
public void CombineDocumentAndSaveItToFile(String filePath,String[] docList)
{
TIFFDocument.Combine(filePath, docList);
}
it is also suitable for other image formats as well.

Try this to merge image with easy programming.
